Despite battling a persistent adductor/hip spasm, Lakers’ star Anthony Davis played through the pain in the last five games, including a recent triumph against the Trail Blazers.

In the victory, the 30-year-old power forward showcased resilience, contributing 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots during his 35 minutes on the court.

Addressing his ongoing injury concerns, Davis admitted, via Khobi Price, “Unfortunately, this thing, it’s still bothering me,” emphasizing the impact on his offensive capabilities, including a slump in shooting and reduced leaping abilities.

Acknowledging the challenges, Davis expressed determination to contribute defensively, stating, “I try to just make up for it on the defensive end and try to impact the game other than scoring.”

Despite the hurdles, Davis remains focused on the team’s success, stating, “At the end of the day, we win basketball games, and I’ll figure the rest out.”
