Miles Bridges to have ‘significant role’ upon return

Miles Bridges is set to conclude his 30-game suspension this week, making him eligible to make his long-awaited return to the court for the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.

After being sidelined for well over a year, Hornets coach Steve Clifford anticipates Bridges to promptly integrate into the lineups upon his return.

“I think he’ll be ready to play. He’s in practice every day. So, he’s been well organized when he’s there,” Clifford said of Bridges. “He’s in really good shape. He’s worked hard.”

While uncertain about the specific usage and potential minutes restriction for Bridges, coach Steve Clifford affirmed that Bridges would be actively involved right from the start upon his return to the Charlotte Hornets.

“That’s under worry about tomorrow’s problems tomorrow,” Clifford said. “Right now our problems are: we don’t run back on defense, we don’t block out all the time, so I’ve been spending all my time on that.

“But he (Bridges) will have a significant role right away.”
