Bucks stumble against Magic in Damian Lillard’s absence

The Milwaukee Bucks (5-4) faced a setback, falling 112-97 to the Orlando Magic (5-4), marking their second consecutive loss, all while missing Damian Lillard.

Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s remarkable performance with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, Paolo Banchero’s 26 points and 12 rebounds, along with a strong showing from the Wagner brothers, led the Magic to victory.

The Bucks played their second game without Lillard, sidelined due to a sore left calf, contributing to the team’s offensive struggles.

Franz Wagner’s 24 points, Mo Wagner’s 19 off the bench, and Jalen Suggs’ 20 fueled the Magic’s offense, breaking Milwaukee’s 14-game win streak against them.

Despite a spirited fourth-quarter effort by the Bucks, the Magic’s resilience, highlighted by Banchero’s clutch plays and Jonathan Isaac’s three-pointer, secured the win.
