Spurs’ rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama shared his initial thoughts on playing at the iconic Madison Square Garden before his team’s game against the Knicks tonight.
While expressing admiration for the venue, the 19-year-old French phenom mentioned that the arena was not as large as he had anticipated but still exuded an electrifying atmosphere.
“Definitely incredible. Not as big as I expected, but still, the vibe is here,” Wembanyama said, per Tim Reynolds.
