New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson loved what he saw out of rookie Jordan Hawkins this past weekend vs. the Atlanta Hawks (15 points/5 rebounds/1 steal/5-11 FG/4-8 3-PT/1-1 FT in 123-105 home loss).

Reporter: “Jordan Hawkins had another solid game tonight, 15 points. How do you feel like as a rookie, him coming in and adding another element to the offense?”
Williamson: “You love it. Hawk’s confidence is already like a year seven-year eight vet. He’s fitting in his role very well, and he’s just gotta keep continuing to build on that.”
Reporter: “Is it surprising to see how consistently he’s able to find shots?”
Williamson: “I think that’s something over time that once scouting reports really start locking in on it, they’ll probably pay attention to some of his tendencies. What makes him so hard to guard is he not only is an elite catch and shoot person, but he can put it on the ground and get to a nice midi.”
