Portland Trail Blazers’ head coach, Chauncey Billups, lauded the notable contributions of the team’s recent addition, Robert Williams III, following an impressive display during a recent practice session.
Expressing his satisfaction with Williams’ performance, Billups emphasized the valuable presence and influence the newcomer brought to the team dynamics.
Notably, his remarks, relayed by Casey Holdahl, highlighted Williams’ positive impact on the team’s practice intensity and overall cohesion.
“Rob looked really good today in practice. I think really that’s one of the reasons why our practice was so dang good, he’s such a voice down there … He was really good,” Billups said.
Williams, acquired by the Trail Blazers in the Jrue Holiday trade earlier in the offseason, has swiftly impressed the coaching staff.
