Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, both prominent figures in the world of basketball, have often been associated with the practice of load management, drawing criticism for their frequent game absences.

The rumors surrounding the two players have suggested that they selectively choose when to participate in games, leading to questions about their commitment to their teams.

George, however, has spoken out against these misconceptions, expressing his frustration with being labeled as a player who intentionally misses games.

In an interview with Taylor Rooks, George stated, “It’s annoying because ultimately we love basketball, we love to play, we love to compete. That’s just how we are. We love to hoop.

“For people to say that, ‘Oh, they’re not gonna play,’ we don’t intentionally want to miss games. It’s something that we’re trying to be mindful of and be ahead of.

“It’s not just players, that’s involved on those decisions. It’s medical staff that have say so in these situations as well. We’re mindful of our bodies. If we haven’t played or we’re not suiting up, there’s something going on that’s keeping us out of that game.”
