The 19-year-old French sensation has already drawn significant attention, with 13,200 fans turning out to watch him in a scrimmage game between the Blue and Silver Spurs teams.
Despite the spotlight and high expectations, Wembanyama has maintained a humble demeanor, earning praise from his teammate, Keldon Johnson.
“It’s amazing, man. He’s probably one of the most humble people I’ve ever been around…,” Johnson said, per Kelly Iko of The Athletic.
“There’s a lot of hype around him, but I feel like that doesn’t bother him. That doesn’t change who he is as a person.”
