Reigning NBA champion Nikola Jokic is preparing for the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season with the Denver Nuggets. H is also open to the idea of bringing his team to his home country, Serbia, for a preseason game.

When asked about the possibility of the Nuggets playing a preseason game in Serbia, Jokic expressed enthusiasm for the idea.

“I think that would be great,” he said. “I think there’s a lot of Nuggets fans in Serbia and people who like basketball. I think it’d be a good show.”

As the NBA continues to expand its global reach, preseason games in international locations have become more common. Currently, the Mavericks and Timberwolves are in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for two preseason games.
