As Zion Williamson focuses on his health during the offseason to avoid the injuries that have disrupted his NBA career, his teammate CJ McCollum is singing his praises.
McCollum recently spoke about Williamson’s impact on the court, highlighting the former No. 1 pick’s dominance and physicality.
“You forget how impactful and dominant Z is when he’s not on the court. When he gets out there, you understand the physicality and his ability to finish around the basket,” McCollum said, per Jim Eichenhofer.
“Hopefully we get a large sample size where you can watch us play together this season.”
During the previous season, Williamson played in only 29 games, averaging 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 33 minutes per game.
