Josh Green, the young guard for the Dallas Mavericks, is on the verge of entering his fourth year in the NBA.
With the October 23 extension deadline approaching, the 22-year-old player has made his intentions clear: he wants to continue his career with the Mavericks.
“At the end of the day, I know I want to be here,” he said, per Brad Townsend of Dallas Morning News. “I’m going to work as if I’m going to be here for a long time. I want to be able to win in Dallas; I want to be in Dallas.
“Whatever their decision is their decision, but at the end of the day I’ve got the same goal every single day, and that’s to be the best teammate and the best player I can be for the team.”
