While there isn’t a formal confirmation yet, Ignas Brazdeikis, who didn’t play for Zalgiris during the Cyprus prep tournament, strongly indicated his transfer to Olympiacos.

He mentioned after Zalgiris’ victory against Crvena Zvezda that he’s set to join Olympiacos in Greece, where both teams are participating in the same tournament.

Speaking to COSMOTE TV which broadcasted the game, Brazdeikis said: “Yes, that’s the plan, to get on the plane and go to Greece tomorrow. A few final details remain.”

In his inaugural season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the player from Kaunas averaged 11.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game across 35 outings, with 28 of those as starting appearances during the 2022-23 season.

Prior to this, he had a stint in the NBA, playing 64 games for the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, and New York Knicks.
