Bogdan Bogdanovic once again displayed his exceptional talent in the FIBA World Cup, solidifying his status as one of the tournament’s all-time greats.

He scored 23 points, shooting 8/12 from the field, including 3/4 from beyond the arc, and contributed with 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. It’s clear that he was the standout player of the game.

Serbia came out determined to secure a spot in the Final and defeated Canada 95-86 in the first Semi-Final. Bogdanovic, as expected, made history by becoming the player with the most three-pointers (70) in the competition over the last 30 years.

In terms of historical achievements, he continued to follow in the footsteps of basketball legends. The Serbian player surpassed Dirk Nowitzki’s record of 425 points in FIBA World Cup games by scoring 427 points.

Today marked his 11th game with 20 points or more in the World Cup, placing him third in the 21st century, behind only Luis Scola (16) and Dirk Nowitzki (12), who was present as a World Cup Global Ambassador.

Additionally, Bogdanovic now stands as the sole record holder for making at least one three-pointer in 24 consecutive World Cup games he’s played in.
