In spite of Dennis Schroder’s struggles, Germany beat Latvia 81-79 in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, securing a semi-final spot against the United States.

Schroder tied a World Cup record for missed shots, but Germany’s Franz Wagner and a fourth-quarter 8-0 run was key to the win. Latvia’s Arturs Zagars impressed, but a failed three-pointer by Davis Bertans sealed Germany’s victory.

In another video, Dennis Schroder praised his teammates for stepping up to ensure their victory over Latvia and their advancement to the semi-finals of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
