Austin Reaves, the Los Angeles Lakers’ rising star, continues to earn admiration from fellow NBA players, and the latest to join the chorus of praise is Andre Iguodala.
In a recent appearance on the Aarthi and Sriram podcast, Iguodala shared his genuine appreciation for Reaves, especially in light of the young guard’s impressive performances for Team USA in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
Iguodala expressed his admiration, saying with a laugh (h/t ClutchPoints), “Is he him? He’s Austin Reaves. I like Austin a lot. We’ve gotten to know each other a little bit… He’s a lot better than folks thought he was. He’s a real basketball player, and that’s why I’m a fan of his… No matter what team he’s on, he’s gonna help you win.”
