Stephen A. Smith: Michael Jordan’s superiority over LeBron James evident in All-Star Game decision

Stephen A. Smith, the outspoken ESPN commentator, brought up a key episode to support his stance on the never-ending debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan’s greatness.

Smith revisited the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, a contest that’s memorable for LeBron’s surprising decision to pass up a potential game-winning shot. This choice, as Smith argues, is a microcosm of why Jordan is still regarded as superior.

During the All-Star Game, with the ball in LeBron’s hands, the likes of Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony urged him to take the shot.

“All three of them, along with Kobe, descended on LeBron and said, ‘Yo, what’s up? What you doin’?’ Because they knew he was psyched out. He was messed up,” Smith said, via Brad Sullivan of Lakers Daily.
