San Antonio Spurs’ sophomore forward, Jeremy Sochan, is eagerly anticipating the upcoming season, where he will join forces with this year’s No. 1 pick, Victor Wembanyama, in the frontcourt. The 20-year-old player envisions their partnership as a defensive force to be reckoned with.

Speaking about their potential on both ends of the court, Sochan shared his excitement, saying, via Bryan Kalbrosky of For The Win, “I think it’s going to be scary. Defensively, it’s going to be hard to score against us. We are long. We’re pesky.”

Sochan also highlighted the fluidity they aim to bring to the game, emphasizing their commitment to a fast-paced style. “Offensively, I’m going to be able to find him, and whoever gets the board, just push it. There is no need to pause after getting the defensive board. The way we want to play is: Whoever gets it, you run. You dribble the ball up.”

This approach, according to Sochan, will not only make the game easier but also lead to a seamless flow on the court. He believes that their potential, both defensively and offensively, is boundless.
