Tyrese Haliburton’s basketball journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Since his trade from the Kings to the Pacers in February 2022, the former first-round draft pick has flourished into a bona fide star in Indiana.

Last season, the 23-year-old guard achieved his first All-Star selection, averaging an impressive 20.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 10.4 assists per game in just 33.6 minutes.

Haliburton’s meteoric rise reached new heights when last month he inked a lucrative max contract extension with the Pacers, a deal worth up to a staggering $260 million over five years.

However, despite these monumental achievements, Haliburton remains grounded and maintains the same tenacity that propelled him from being overlooked to becoming a basketball sensation.

“I’ve been overlooked my whole life. It’s never changed, and it probably will never change. It’s kind of just a part of who I am at this point,” Haliburton said. “I just keep my head down and continue to do what I do. I’ve always wanted to be the best and just have fun with what I do.”
