Danny Green, a seasoned NBA player with a collection of championship rings, recently opened up about a surprising consideration – selling his Lakers championship ring from 2020.

In a conversation on Gil’s Arena, Green explained his rationale, stating, “I could probably make the most off the Lakers one.” He also highlighted the distinct sentimental value tied to the Lakers ring, with the championship achieved during the bubble season and in the wake of Kobe Bryant’s tragic passing.

“It was a bubble year. It’s a Kobe year. And you know, Lakers fans, it’s a bigger fan base throughout the nation,” Green said, via Mike Battaglino of Lakers Daily.

However, he also recognized the significance of his Toronto Raptors championship ring, describing it as “ridiculous” and the biggest of them all.

While Green pondered the idea of parting with his Lakers ring, it’s clear that the decision would involve a balance between financial considerations and sentimental attachment.
