Italian national team head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco pondered his journey as a head coach, culminating in his debut on the sidelines at a FIBA World Cup.
“I was lucky enough to win both with the club and with the national team when I was a player,” Pozzecco said. “The truth is that winning with the national team is a whole different story. I doubted I could have become that type of head coach: I became who I wanted to become. I only believe in very few concepts.”
