In a historic triumph, the Bahamas secured their place in the Olympic Qualifiers for the first time ever, and Deandre Ayton couldn’t be prouder of his team’s achievement.
Powered by a stellar performance from Eric Gordon, the Bahamians defeated Argentina 82-75 in the final round of the FIBA Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Ayton himself had a massive impact with a double-double, recording 10 points and a staggering 21 rebounds. The victory marked a historic moment for Bahamian basketball.
