Venice tab Michael Bramos from Panathinaikos

Umana Reyer Venice made official on Friday the signing of guard Michael Bramos for the coming season.

Bramos (1.96 meters, 27 years old) spent last season on the sidelines due to a serious injury he suffered during the 2014 NBA Summer League. Prior to that, Bramos played two seasons for Panathinaikos Athens; he averaged 6.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 28 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games with the Greens in the 2013-14 season.

Bramos played college basketball at Miami of Ohio until 2009 and then moved to Greece to join Peristeri. After one year there, he joined Gran Canaria in Spain, where he played two seasons until 2012. In the summer of 2012, he went back to Greece to join Panathinaikos. This will be Bramos’s return to the Eurocup, which he last played in 2012 with Gran Canaria.
