The Boston Celtics are reportedly exploring the option of re-signing veteran player Blake Griffin for the upcoming season.
According to Marc Stein, the Celtics have shown interest in retaining Griffin’s services. However, it’s unclear whether Griffin, at the age of 34, is inclined to return for what could be his 15th NBA season.
During the 2022-23 season, Griffin contributed to the Celtics’ efforts, averaging 4.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in just under 14 minutes per game.
Despite joining the team after the training camp had already begun, Griffin’s presence on the court was felt in 41 regular-season games and one playoff appearance.
