According to reports, the Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham declined an invitation to join Team USA, citing the need to prioritize injury management. Instead, he has chosen to be a part of the US Select Team.
Currently, Cunningham is in the last phase of rehabilitation for a shin injury, which significantly restricted his playing time last season, allowing him to participate in only 12 games.
