Devonte’ Graham was recently asked what his welcome to the NBA moment was for the Charlotte Hornets by longtime friend Theo Pinson.

Pinson: “What was your welcome to the NBA moment?”
Graham: “My welcome to the NBA moment was probably like one of the first practices, and Marvin Williams, shout-out Marvin Williams, one of the real OG’s, UNC legend for sure, hit me with a crazy screen, bro. I was out the practice the rest of the practice. I was probably out like three days. Like first two possessions of live, we warm up, we do our individuals, then we do some team stuff, then we get to live.”
Pinson: “Knocked you right out.”
Graham: “Boom! Screen.”
Pinson: “That’s a tough one.”
Graham: “Like, ‘Damn. I gotta start lifting. I hate lifting.’”
Pinson: “Yeah. You better than that.”
Graham: “Yeah, but I gotta lift. I gotta get stronger.”
