In the midst of a lawsuit accusing him of assault and battery by a man he met on Instagram, former Lakers center Dwight Howard is also facing misconceptions about his personal life.
When asked about the most bothersome misconceptions, Howard expressed frustration over people questioning his commitment to his children, dismissing claims of being a deadbeat dad. He asserted that his personal life is private, and he would never make public statements about his intimate relationships.
“People saying I don’t spend time with my kids or I’m a deadbeat dad or that I would ever do anything to hurt my kids,” he said, via Way Up With Yee podcast. “All the other noise that people say about whatever they think my personal life is, that’s my personal life and I would never make public statements about anything private of mine when it comes to who’s in my bed or anything like that.”
The lawsuit filed by Stephen Harper alleges several wild claims against the NBA star, including assault and battery.
