Darvin Ham has a stern warning for Michael Malone as the rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets is slated to further intensify for next years to come.
As he appeared on Chris Haynes and Marc Stein’s “#thisleague UNCUT” podcast, Ham blasted Malone as the Nuggets mentor’s title celebration was discussed on their recent conversation.
“Oh wow, bring up ‘Money Mike,’ the Lakers’ daddy, right? That’s what they call him now, the Lakers’ Daddy… God bless his soul. This shit ain’t over. God bless his soul.”
Both Nuggets and the Lakers managed to reach the Conference Finals, but the former emerged victorious via sweep. Amid this, the matchup was tightly contested with a 6.0-point margin average for four total games of the series.
Ham and the Lakers have a solid chance to run it back and draw their vengeance over Malone and the Nuggets as they were able to have a productive offseason highlighted by the retainment of Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura as well as the key addition of Gabe Vincent.
