The Trail Blazers retained Jerami Grant by signing him to a five-year, $160 million deal. Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reports that the final year of the new contract is a player option.
With the inevitable departure of Damian Lillard, the role of Grant in Portland should increase next year.
Last season Grant averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 35.7 minutes per game.
