Grant Williams remains stuck in the market as one of the most notable free agents, but that doesn’t mean that there’s no team that is interested in acquiring him.

According to Jared Weiss of The Athletic, the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, and the New York Knicks remain in the race to sign the restricted free agent in Williams.

Williams will still be eligible to sign an offer sheet from other teams until July 6, and the Boston Celtics can match these deals for 24 hours.

Added by Weiss, the C’s are planning to utilize Williams as a sign-and-trade chip to acquire a first-round pick. It is yet to be seen if this would happen as the value of the forward as a role player doesn’t necessarily equate to a high draft asset.

Williams, 24, averaged 8.1 points and 4.6 boards in 79 games last season. He has a career of 37.9 percent shooting from three-point land out of 2.7 attempts average.
