The Hornets have used their No. 2 pick to draft Brandon Miller, 20-year-old forward out of Alabama. The addition of the prospect to the roster could mean the end of Kelly Oubre Jr.’s tenure in Charlotte.
According to Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer, it is unlikely that Oubre will return to the Hornets next season due to many options in his position. He became an unrestricted free agent this summer.
This past season the 27-year-old shooting guard averaged career-high 20.3 points, along with 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 32.3 minutes per game.
