Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns is not modest when speaking about himself as a basketball player. The 27-year-old center recently said that he has revolutionized the game and was mocked for that statement by Draymond Green.

Regardless of what others say, KAT is confident in his abilities and has a goal of winning a championship set in his mind.

“I’m saving this finger for a championship,” said Towns, pointing to his left ring finger, via Adam Caparell of GQ. “I’ve won at every level, except college, unfortunately. But we did something special and made a lot of history.

“Do I say my college year was a failure because we didn’t come out with a national championship? I don’t know if I would say that’s a failure. You end up being the No. 1 pick, taking care of your family, creating opportunity and being a role model for kids in my neighborhood who never thought making the NBA was possible. I don’t know if I would say that’s a failure.”

This past season Towns averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 33 minutes per game.
