The New Orleans Pelicans were a notable seeker for Scoot Henderson, but they didn’t reportedly make Zion Williamson available in any trade scenarios according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wojnarowski stated during ESPN’s Draft coverage that there were no teams offered by the Pelicans to obtain the star forward.

“I could not find a general manager who was offered Zion Williamson,” said Wojnarowski, via RealGM.

Wojnarowski added that New Orleans remains committed to Williamson as the big man has been spending more time in the team’s practice facility, unlike in the past.

Williamson drew plenty of trade considerations around the league this offseason upon the Pelicans’ reported intent to acquire a top 2-3 pick and land Henderson. The former No. 1 pick remains yet to be seen healthy since his rookie year.

He only logged 114 total games throughout his first four years in the league. Williamson and the Pelicans were limited to contend and eventually settled to a disappointing campaign after the All-Star fought hamstring issues that shelved him for 53 games this 2022-23.
