The Boston Celtics are working on a trade to acquire the Washington Wizards center/forward Kristaps Porzingis in a three-team deal that sends Malcolm Brogdon to the Los Angeles Clippers. LA would be sending Marcus Morris, Amir Coffey, and the 30th pick to Washington. Sides still have more work to do on an agreement.
Porzingis would opt-in to his $36 million for 2023-2024 to make potential trade happen, but there are still outstanding issues to be completed before a deal can be reached. The Boston Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari would be in the deal to Washington too.
