Chris Paul, who was traded to the Wizards in the Bradley Beal trade, is not expected to stay in Washington. He is strongly linked with both the Lakers and the Clippers.
Former NBA player JJ Redick, who was Paul’s teammate on the Clippers, think that the better option of the two for the 38-year-ld point guard is the Purple and Gold.
“For me the Lakers feel like a better fit [for Chris Paul],” Redick said on The Old Man & The Three podcast. “If I’m the Lakers, the most important thing is bringing [Rui] Hachimura and bringing back Austin Reaves. Let’s start there…
“I just feel like with his level of intelligence and LeBron [James], his ability to play pick and roll with Anthony Davis… I just feel like if I’m Chris and I’m like ‘Where gives me best chance to potentially compete for a championship?’ To me it feels like next year in particular it will be more the Lakers than the Clippers.”
