Doc Rivers is not rushing back into coaching after getting fired by the 76ers last month. The 2008 NBA champion wants to take some time off and relax first.
“I’m just gonna sit back. I’m gonna do a little podcast, TV and enjoy myself, if I can,” Rivers said on The Bill Simmons Podcast, via Dave Uram.
Rivers was a candidate for some of the open head coaching vacancies, but the teams picked other coaches.
