Nikola Jokic capped the season with his and the Nuggets’ first NBA championship. The Serbian superstar was also named the Finals MVP.
His performances sparked conversations about whether is the best big man to play the game. Former NBA player JJ Redick does not go that far, but ranks Jokic among the top players of all-time.
“He’s certainly an all-time great player. … He’s easily in the top 25 or top 30 right now, and he’s still got a long runway to win more MVPs, to win more championships. This run was as historic as I can remember,” Redick said on Get Up.
Jokic averaged 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 39.5 minutes per game during the playoffs.
