As Nikola Jokic ultimately evolved from being an overweight, project player into a generational modern big, he now often draws comparisons as a mixture of both Dirk Nowitzki and Marc Gasol – boasting that superior shot-making and gifted talents of playmaking.

But in the eyes of Denver Nuggets assistant Ognjen Stojakovic – who saw the entire growth of the Serbian superstar – Jokic is more than that.

“He’s like Steph Curry, one of the guys who changed basketball,” Stojakovic told FOX Sports’ Melissa Rohlin. ” … Now you have a big who is actually an all-around player. That’s the dream of every coach, to have a guy who is a seven-footer, who plays from one to five offensively.”

What Jokic currently demonstrates in this postseason run of his life has been turning the heads around of the entire basketball world – as he embodies that unimaginable big man who can do it all with that uncanny offensive wizardry.

As such, is it truly safe to assume that he is now changing the landscape of basketball similarly to the Golden State Warriors icon, as his game-changing skills are truly a sight to behold.

With a chance to win it all Monday for Game 5 of the 2023 NBA Finals, Jokic got the opportunity to further cement his legacy and gets even more progressive in shaping the sport.
