Should the Trail Blazers decided to trade Damian Lillard, it is almost guaranteed that the superstar will not be moved to the Celtics, says NBA insider Chris Haynes.
He also thinks that the 32-year-old point guard will not be traded to another Western Conference team either.
“I do not envision a possibility that he would be traded to a Western Conference team,” Haynes said on The Dan Patrick Show. “He’s not doing Boston. He’s not. I don’t see that. I think that’s pretty safe to say.”
Haynes also said that the most likely trade destinations for Lillard are his preferred teams – the Heat and the Nets.
