The Milwaukee Bucks are tapping Joe Prunty and Patrick Mutombo to their coaching staff under new head coach Adrian Griffin, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Prunty got ties with the Bucks as he served as an assistant under Jason Kidd for five years. He concluded his time to the team after he held their interim coaching position in midseason of 2017-18. He previously served as an assistant within the Atlanta Hawks this season, and was not retained by the franchise as Quin Snyder elected to revamp his sideline support.

Meanwhile, Mutombo was an assistant for the Phoenix Suns last year. He also had a tenure with the Toronto Raptors from 2016 to 2020, managing the club’s G League affiliate Raptors 905 for one season.

Milwaukee have earlier hired Terry Stotts as an assistant for Griffin, who took over as the team’s newest mentor following Mike Budenholzer’s dismissal.
