2024 NBA Draft prospect Mantas Rubstavicius to sign with New Zealand Breakers

2024 NBA Draft prospect Mantas Rubstavicius has agreed to join the New Zealand Breakers as part of the NBL’s Next Stars program, according to Olgun Uluc.

The 21-year-old Lithuanian forward, who has been playing professionally since 2018, is currently with Lietkabelis of his home country.

Rubstavicius is projected to be a late second-round draft pick in 2024. ESPN mock draft puts him at 54th overall pick.

Rubštavičius led the 2022 U20 European Championship in scoring (19.7 ppg; 39.6% 3pt, on 6.9 3PA), leading Lithuania to a silver medal. His most recent pro season was with Lietkabelis in the Lithuanian league, where he averaged 6.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg, in 17.2 mpg.

Rubstavicius averaged 4.5 points (56% 2-pointers, 19% 3-pointers), 1.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 15 minutes per game in EuroCup this season.

His numbers in Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) are higher – 7.1 points (60% 2-pointers, 35% 3-pointers), 1.8 rebounds and 1 assists in 17 minutes per game.
