NBA commissioner Adam Silver says the league and Players Association have already decided on Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant’s suspension, but said it would be unfair to announce it now during the NBA Finals. Silver says he expects Morant’s punishment to be announced shortly after the NBA Finals.
“We’ve uncovered a fair amount of additional information,” Silver said. “We probably could have brought it to a head now, but we’ve made the decision that it would be unfair to these players and these teams to announce that decision in the middle of this series.”
