Turkish Airlines Euroleague debutant Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir added a player who just made his Euroleague debut last season by signing Justin Carter.
The athletic forward joined Galatasaray Istanbul prior to the Top 16 and averaged 8.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 14 Euroleague contests. Carter (1.93 meters, 28 years old) joined Galatasaray from fellow Turkish club Muratbey Usak Sportif, where he had played two and a half seasons.
He averaged 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in the Turkish League last season between Galatasaray and Usak. Previously, Carter also suited up for Tire Gucu Spor Kulubu in the Turkish second division as well as for Vahostav SK Zilina in Slovakia after playing college basketball at Creighton University.
