Ahead of their much anticipated NBA Finals showdown, Aaron Gordon paid his respect and admiration towards the Miami Heat.

The Denver Nuggets forward took the podium and was all praise on the Heat and their current splendid story as the representatives of the Eastern Conference. Gordon pointed out that the seeding of Miami doesn’t make sense as one of the contexts of their best-of-seven duel.

“They fight. The scrap,” Gordon said. “They have no quit in them. They play fearless. They’re disciplined. They’re well-coached.

“We’re not looking at their seed or the story around it. All those guys have game, and we respect it.”

The gritty and never-say-die Heat team went through an arduous journey just to reach the Final stage. They erased the odds and made an early history after outlasting the top-seed Milwaukee Bucks in the first round, following it up by eliminating the New York Knicks in the East Semis through six games.

They quickly landed in Colorado following a gruelling seven-game series against the Boston Celtics. With Jimmy Butler at front, Miami is determined to cap off their Cinderella run as the best in the entire history of the league’s postseason.

The Nuggets and the Heat will collide on Thursday to start their championship series.
