Duncan Robinson on missing two clutch three-pointers in Game 6

In a thrilling Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Celtics narrowly avoided elimination with a dramatic buzzer-beating shot by Derrick White.

For the Heat, the heartbreaking loss puts them on the brink elimination. As Miami looks for answers, Duncan Robinson finds himself reflecting on two crucial missed shots that could have altered the outcome of the game.

Robinson, who has been a reliable contributor for the Heat throughout the playoffs, experienced an uncharacteristic lapse during Game 6. With 1:24 remaining, he had an opportunity to tie the game with a three-pointer but couldn’t convert. In the final moments, Robinson again had a chance to give the Heat a lead but missed a transition three-pointer with 21 seconds left.

In the aftermath of the loss, Robinson expressed disappointment in himself for not capitalizing on those opportunities. He admitted to feeling surprised by the amount of time he had on the first miss and acknowledged the frustration of failing to connect on shots that could have changed the course of the game.

“The first one, I couldn’t believe how much time I had, checked the wind and everything,” Robinson said. “Obviously, you want to get those back. It’s all juiced up, missed them both long. Those will stick with me, but got to have a short memory. I can worry about those later. For now it’s about Game 7.”
