Jayson Tatum defends Joe Mazzula after Game 2 loss

The Celtics fell to 0-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals after losing the first two home games of the series against the Heat.

Jayson Tatum, who scored team-high 34 points, along with 13 rebounds and 8 assists, defended head coach Joe Mazzulla as he took his own responsibility for the loss in Game 2.

“We got his back, he got ours,” Tatum said postgame. “Joe ain’t missed no shots tonight, he had no turnovers. I missed shots, I had turnovers. Anytime we lose I’m gonna look at what I could have done better in order for us to change the outcome.”
