The Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla spoke on the Celtics forcing Game 7 after a grueling 95-86 win in Philadelphia. Game 7 is Sunday. The winner of the Miami-New York semifinal awaits the Celtics or 76ers.
“I’m proud of them because they stuck together,” said Mazzulla about the team’s effort. “They didn’t overreact. They responded well.”
On Jayson Tatum’s struggles, Mazzulla said, “The standard that is set for him to where if he’s not scoring, he’s not playing good basketball is wrong.”
