The Nuggets lost Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Suns in Phoenix (114-121), but still lead the series 2-1.

Jamal Murray was the top scorer for Denver with 32 points (13/29 field goals). He also grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.

The 26-year-old point guard took responsibility for the loss, saying that he can’t miss that many shots in a game.

“We expected to win. I put that one on me. I can’t miss that many consecutively,” Murray said postgame. “So that’s why it stings personally.

“They had a great game. They played really desperate. The crowd was into it. And they made some tough shots. I feel like we can’t let them get into that good rhythm the whole game.

“We still had a chance. My team found me late. I put that on me. I got to be able to execute down the stretch when the team finds me.”
