Domantas Sabonis is set to enter the final year of his 4-year, $74.9 million contract with the Kings. The Lithuanian forward is eligible to sign extension with the team this summer.
Sacramento’s general manager Monte McNair was asked about the future of Sabonis and potential extension.
“Domas is obviously All-Star this year. I think [he] should be All-NBA along with De’Aaron [Fox],” McNair said. “So we’ll find that out soon. Domas is a huge part of what we do and we’re gonna do all we can to keep him here build around him.”
Sabonis averaged 19.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 34.6 minutes per game this season.
