The Grizzlies reportedly are not interested in offering a new deal to Dillon Brooks who will become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
“The Grizzlies informed Dillon Brooks that they are moving on from him… Under no condition do they view bringing him back,” said NBA insider Shams Charania on FanDuelTV.
Brooks’ agent Mike George thinks that the scapegoat narrative surrounding his client is false. He took to Twitter to slam Charania for his reporting.
“@ShamsCharania the leader of spreading false news and attacking players. Why any player in the league talks to this guy blows my mind. #weirdo,” George tweeted.
Brooks has completed his sixth year in the NBA averaging 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 30.3 minutes per game. So far he has only played for the Grizzlies.
