Olympiacos Piraeus dominates Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul with a 79-68 win at home in their best-of-five series opener. Olympiacos broke their club playoff record with 16 triples, including a red-hot shooting performance from Isaiah Canaan who scored 6-for-7 from long range in the first three quarters.

Canaan’s shooting helped open up a double-digit lead and Fenerbahce was never able to recover. Sasha Vezenkov contributed 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Shaquielle McKissic added 11 points on 3-for-4 three-point shooting.

For Fenerbahce, Johnathan Motley had 15 points and 7 rebounds, Dyshawn Pierre scored 13, Marko Guduric added 12, and Nigel Hayes-Davis had 11 points.

The two teams played a closely contested first half, but Olympiacos took control after the break.
